Latest requirements of the Iraq Embassy in China

  In order to ensure the smooth export of goods to the Republic of Iraq, the Commercial Office of the Iraqi Embassy in China issued a new notice. All enterprises are requested to pay more attention when applying for documents to ensure the smooth delivery of documents. Specific requirements are as follows:

  When applying for the certificate of origin and commercial invoice certification, the following materials are required:

  1.Certificate of Conformity (COC) or Certificate of Conformity (COI) issued by the German TUV Inspection Company or the French BV Bureau Veritas International Inspection Company as the certification required for certification;

  2.Import license;

  3.Please add the contact information of the Chinese company to the Exporter Information Office of the Certificate of Origin for the Embassy to inquire about business matters.

  In the following two cases, a copy of the contract must be submitted at the same time:

  1.Apply for a project signed by the company with the Iraqi government (which does not include government projects for investment purposes), and at the same time do not need to submit a certificate of conformity (COC and COI);

  2.The invoice amount of the applicant company exceeds 1,000,000 USD.

  Customers who import fresh garlic from China must make preparations before the transaction.
